Cookie policy

We use very few cookies, only those needed for the store to work, and we don’t use advertising or analytics cookies. Effective October 3, 2026.

A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. “Local storage” is similar, but its data stays in your browser and isn’t sent to our servers on its own.

1. Necessary cookies

Session (em_refresh): if you sign in with your account, this cookie keeps you signed in. It’s secure: it’s only sent over HTTPS, only to the part of the site that handles sessions, and the browser doesn’t let other scripts read it. It’s deleted when you sign out and expires on its own if you don’t use the store for a while. If you check out as a guest, it isn’t created.

Language (NEXT_LOCALE): remembers whether you prefer the store in Spanish or English when you switch languages.

Because they are needed for the store to work, we don’t ask for your permission to use them.

2. What your browser stores

In your browser’s local storage we keep: your cart and favorites if you shop without an account (em_carrito, em_favoritos) and which account they belong to, so they aren’t added twice (em_tienda_cuenta); a marker that you signed in, which contains no secret (em_sesion); the coupon code you entered (em_cupon); the light or dark theme (expremarket_theme); and the measurements you enter in “My size” (expremarket:mis-medidas), which are never sent to our servers.

If you sign in with your account, your cart and favorites are also saved to your account so you can see them on other devices.

3. Payments

When you pay, the card form is loaded by Square from its own servers. Square may use its own cookies and similar technologies to process the payment and prevent fraud, under its privacy policy. We don’t have access to them.

4. Advertising and analytics

We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies, or third-party pixels or trackers, and we don’t sell your browsing data. If we ever decide to use them, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your permission first.

5. How to control them

You can view and delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you delete the session cookie, you are signed out. If you clear the site data, the guest cart and favorites are emptied and your “My size” measurements are forgotten. If you block all cookies, you won’t be able to sign in, but you can still check out as a guest.
